Go
on a treasure hunt on the Internet and upload an Egyptian tomb object
to your Gallery page. Describe the object, its use, and how it was
made. Where did the Egyptians get materials such as gold, alabaster,
and gem stones?

On
your next trip to a museum, take along your digital camera. If the
museum permits, take pictures of your favorite art works. Become the
curator of your own gallery by uploading your images and adding your
own descriptions.

Upload
a painting by Winslow Homer that tells the story of coastal life in
Maine. Describe the role the drama of nature and the sea played in
his life and work.

Design
a mythology game. Create a board game based on the adventures of the
Greek heroes and heroines. Choose a favorite story and note the details
you would like to include in the game. Write a rule book and design
and produce the necessary accessories: a board, cards, dice, spinners,
etc.

and history of this ancient pueblo. Add an example of Acoma pottery
to your Gallery page. What do the different surface decorations represent
and why are they so closely related to the environment.

paint, or find a picture frame, window frame, or open door and then
think about what you might find inside the frame. Add the contents
to complete your project.
